Examples of teaching AI aspects via games and robots
In nowadays, students are not satisfied from traditional ways of teaching scientific aspects, even at University level. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an attractive subject, but not attractively taught in most cases. Also, some AI aspects are difficult to grasp. Therefore, we are looking for ways to overcome those obstacles. Two such ways are using games and educational robots in teaching such aspects. The presentation will focus on some preliminary efforts towards the above direction. After a short introduction and presentation of the basic questions on the topic, draft versions of a game and an educational robot application that could be used as supporting teaching material will be presented.
